I first asked Bart to mix some tracks I had recorded in my home studio after I could not seem to get a mix I was happy with. I sent the project to him, and he remixed and mastered my tracks. The difference was night and day! Everything was clear and balanced, and just had that professional touch my mixes lacked. I won’t bother trying to mix myself anymore. His rates are very reasonable!
After that first experience, I reached out to Bart about recording some drums for some other tracks I had recorded. He recommended a drummer he had previously worked with, and we set a date. When I showed up, Bart already had everything queued up and ready. We were able to get four songs done in about three hours.
The studio is very well equipped, the control room sounds great and the whole place is very well laid out. Working with Bart is such a joy! He’s very easy-going, patient and professional. I highly recommend Bart and High Ridge Studio!

Poised to introduce brand new music, Mattei is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album titled BELIEVIN’ IS SEEIN’ (anticipated in early spring 2018 from her independent label TrendyGirl Records). The 6-song CD features Mattei originals and co-writes including her latest single, “Bump, Bump, Bump” (Sept. 2017). Mattei wrote the “back-in-the-swing” tune with Danielle Todd and co-produced the track alongside Bartley Pursley (who has also produced notable, award-winning artists such as Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson and Liz Carlisle, and has engineered projects for Blake Shelton and Montgomery Gentry).
